A curated collection of architecture-led homes, lived and loved before we list them. One collection. Three ways in — as a private stay, a venue for your retreat, or a week you join.
Nomadikas is where the extraordinary slows down. A curated collection of wild luxury escapes — homes to rent, venues to host, retreats to join. Each place chosen for what the land does to you, not what it looks like in a brochure.
However you're arriving,
there's a door for you.
The same homes serve three different weeks. Tell us which one is yours and we'll only show you what fits.
Full buyout of the home, only for your people. Two to sixteen guests, handpicked staff, no other guests on the land. For families, friends, slow weeks.
Pre-vetted for shala space, chef capacity, transfer logistics. For wellness retreats, weddings, corporate offsites, milestone gatherings.
A curated calendar of retreats hosted at Nomadikas homes by teachers, chefs and facilitators we've vetted. Book a single place, arrive alone, leave with people.
I came from fashion. Twenty years of editing collections, walking showrooms, calling the one piece out of a hundred that belonged in the story. You learn to feel it before you can explain it — a cut, a fabric, a room. A place.
I do the same thing with homes now. Walk in, breathe, and check for goosebumps. Not a metaphor — a literal goosebump check at the threshold. No goosebumps, no place. Doesn't matter how the brochure looks.
What I look for is the same thing I used to look for in a perfectly cut coat. Quiet confidence. A thing that arrives already knowing who it is — before you've had a chance to ask.
Nomadikas is what's left after that edit. One percent of what I see. A handful of homes across four continents. Each one chosen because it did something to me, and because it will do something to you.
Each destination was chosen for what the land does, the light it carries, the way a week there settles into you. Hover to see the exact places.
Choose the landscape. We match the home. Every Nomadikas stay is considered and eco-built as standard — that's the floor, not the filter.
We'd been looking for somewhere that could hold sixteen women for a menopause retreat without feeling like a hotel. Estate Vista Hermosa held them, fed them, and — genuinely didn't expect this — changed a few of them.
Ten of us, one house, a week in Comporta. First morning Darina sent a box of pastries and three cards naming every bird in the garden. That's the Nomadikas standard. We've already booked next year.
Our engineering team came to Nusa Penida expecting an offsite. They left writing a new roadmap on the shala floor. The estate does something to people that a boardroom cannot.
We built the list by subtraction. If it's easy to find anywhere else, it isn't here. Six things we said no to:
The short answers. For anything else, write to Darina directly.
Three things, in this order. One — an architectural hook: rammed earth, an architect's name, a material you can't replicate elsewhere. Two — a week that changes people: the land has to do something, not just look like something. Three — the goosebump check: Darina arrives, breathes, and if the hairs on her arms don't stand up at the threshold, the property doesn't make the list.
Rejection rate is somewhere around ninety percent.
Yes. Buyout is the default. For private weeks, the whole home is yours — no other bookings, no other guests on the land. For retreats and events, buyout is required.
A handful of homes accept individual room bookings during specific weeks. Ask us which — it changes by destination.
Yes — this is what most of the portfolio is built for. Yoga, pilates, breathwork, menopause, sobriety, writing. Every home has either a dedicated shala or a convertible space; every home has chef capacity for retreat catering; every home has done at least one retreat before.
Yes — it's the fastest-growing part of Nomadikas. Groups of eight to twenty-six. Engineering leadership, C-suites, founding teams. We coordinate transfers, dietary needs, activity schedules, and — if you want — a facilitator.
Private rentals: three to six months shoulder season, six to nine months peak (July–August in Europe, December–March in Costa Rica and Bali).
Retreats: nine to fourteen months — the group signup cycle runs longer.
Corporate buyouts: two to four months is typical, outside holiday windows.
Always: the full home, all rooms, housekeeping, welcome basket, arrival transfer. Usually: in-house chef for breakfast and dinner, daily coffee, basic yoga props. Optional: dedicated retreat host, teacher introduction, full-board catering, private excursions.
Every enquiry gets a line-by-line inclusions sheet before you commit.
Both — you choose. Some guests want the keys and a restaurant recommendation. Others want Darina to shape the arc of the week. The default sits in the middle: a complete welcome pack with everything we know about the land and the region. You decide how much of it you use.
Nightly rates run €1,800 to €12,000 depending on home, season and group size. Weekly retreat buyouts typically sit between €28,000 and €110,000 all-inclusive.
Every enquiry gets three home options at different price points with transparent breakdowns.
We only send email when there's something worth your attention. Tell us what you're interested in and we'll stay out of the way.
